A narrated concert lasting approximately one and a half hours, based on the book "Around the World in 80 Days" by Jules Verne, supplemented by a slide show. The concert consists of musical pieces from along the way (England, Italy, Egypt, India, Singapore, China, Japan and the USA). The performance is based on the historical period of the late 19th century, when former colonies and independent states are encountered along the way. Modern transport with steam locomotives and steamships is also new and exciting, but partly unpredictable and surprising.

The Pikku-Huopalahti Community Theatre, PHYT, presents selected scenes from along the way.

The plot tells about Jules Verne's visionary spirit, also the adventures of the book's hero Phileas Fogg on the journey, the musical styles of different countries and regions, and the possibility created by the modern, industrializing era to circumnavigate the globe in 80 days, as well as the phenomena of the colonial era.
